At the heart of this transformation is architect Monty, collaborating closely with community leaders to ensure The Trott Block remains a timeless centerpiece in Downtown Collingwood.

  • Monty, the architect leading the restoration, plans on maintaining the historical integrity of the building with the help of Dr. John Miller. Dr. Sam Goodman, and the Collingwood Museum. 

  • By maintaining the exterior facade of the building Monty hopes to pay homage to the heritage of The Trott Block and Historic Downtown Collingwood. 

  • Brick will be a recurring design element throughout the restoration with the intent to include the past in the present.
